I haven't found any threads specifically regarding ADG Brass, so I thought I would start one...

My experience so far: I just got off the phone with Josh at ADG. It sounds like the next run of 6.5 SAUM brass will be available around the first of May. He emphasized that creating an account and getting on their wait list is the best way to help insure that demand will be met.... anyways, he definitely did me a solid, and is going to let me get my hands on a few loose pieces to tithe me over until the May production date. To say that I'm impressed with the level of customer service, and just a genuinely great guy, would be an understatement. So far, I definitely have to give them 2 thumbs up. I will post up my thoughts/findings once the brass gets here...

Anyways, for those of you that have had your hands on this brass, please post your findings.

Just received some 6.5 PRC from ADG, I have not loaded any yet, but a cursory inspection looked good... now if I could just find some Reloder 26!

Good to hear. Ya, RL 26 is near impossible to find right now. Hopefully you find some soon and can report back.

.... Justin Hyer put up a pretty thorough review of ADG brass on the Long Range Only YouTube channel... seems like Broz took them on as a site sponsor. So that’s a good sign.

Here’s the link for Hyer’s review:

Dang, if they can keep a decent supply that is a huge boost to the PRCs attractiveness.

I have ADG in 6.5 and 7 SAUM. Have only shot a few virgin loads in the 6.5 thus far but findings are:
  • more consistent weight than norma brass
  • more consistent neck thickness than norma
  • more volume than norma
    • 61.4 gr H1000 in Norma was faster than 61.5 gr in virgin ADG by about 20 FPS if memory serves
  • neck thickness is good for the common .2962 neck chambers - I think loaded rounds were .291 or .292
  • neck mouths have pretty good edges on them, need chamfer/debur which i'd do with anyway
  • Flash holes looked clean
  • Love that they come in a nice ammo box
In 7 SAUM i only weighed a few and measured necks. Necks are a little thicker than Norma and might be tight for common .318 neck chambers, my SAUM getting spun up by HCA will use a SAAMI reamer because of this.

Really hopeful they hold up as advertised.

From what I can see, ADG is going to present a huge problem for Peterson. Priced identical and the quality is much better IMO. If they come out with SRP 6.5 CM then I might switch to it.

My Peterson experience is limited to 300 NM but I think they'll hold their own just fine.

I hope they do, competition is always good for the end user. However, in the 6.5 CM brass test I am conducting ADG is leaps and bounds ahead out of the box. We will see what happens at the range though. Dollar for dollar on LRP brass I'd spend my money on ADG based on what I've seen so far. SRP changes things, obviously ADG doesn't have an SRP offering. TBH the Starline sample I got is really impressive, even next to Alpha. If I was loading bulk I'd run Starline SRP and never look back.

I have been using their 308 brass. Really the only brass I can compare it to is Winchester, LC match, and Nosler. The ADG is very consistent. Flash holes are very clean with no burr. They are local to me so I can skip shipping charges.
