I emailed Kris and Keith already, but got back one auto reply to expect a delayed response.

Does anyone know if you can add pins to a 3 pin fast eddie? I know the housing could be swapped, just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of there is an easier way.

Is the 3 pin the same housing as a 5 pin? I thought they had the slots in them the same as the 5 pin, just two fewer pins. But I haven't owned one. I do have a few 5 pin housings if you would like a few pictures.

I've got a Fast Eddie that was originally a 3 pin. It had 2 empty slots that i sent in to Spot Hogg for them to add 2 more.

On the side of the housing where you adjust the elevation of each specific pin, you should be able to see if there's empty slots for additional pins.

I have extra pins laying around from when I installed a wrap on an early sight. If you can find the little Allen screws I'll send you the pins for shipping. They are same pins used with the wrap, just no wrap.

Ok, I will keep that in mind. Her arrows are heavy and cruising a long at recurve velocity, and she wants to have pins at 5 yard increments instead of large gaps. So, she isn't out of commission without them. Her housing does have the spaces for two more pins.

I converted my 3pin to a 5pin (same housing) and changed all of the fiber colors and sizes. Super reasonable price, I want to say it was under $40. If you want individual part #'s I do have the receipt from them.

You'll need...
- Fiber Cable
- Pin holder (.010 .016 or 0.20) this usually comes with the fiber cable in it.
- Turret (This has the spring in it to push the pin in or out)
- Plastic tubing for fiber cable to wrap around housing. Usually, the 3pin has 2 plastic tubings already in there, they're just empty

It was far simpler than that. Spot Hogg sent me complete pin assemblies and the set screws. There's five screws to disassemble the housing enough to access the pin slots, and ten minutes later I was done.
For some reason it took two calls to convince Spot Hogg I was capable and didn't need to send it in.
