Yup. My wife talked me into it. I have bad shoulder arthritis from an injury and will need a replacement at some point.

She’s a nurse and said that insurance covers it and some people benefit from it. I figured what the hell. Long story short Is is do get some relief. Some sessions are better than others and it lasts longer some times than others.

It’s not gonna fix my problem but it does give some temporary relief. I wouldn’t hesitate to try it.

My girlfriend does it every couple months and it helps her quite a bit for a while.

I’m a believer. But the first girl I had do it wasn’t any good. 2nd try had been great. So you might need to try a couple.

Off road motorcycle racing got my knees, one shoulder and L4 & L5.
In a good place now but between surgeries acupuncture and dry needling sure helped me keep my pain under control.
Agree sometimes worked better than others and length of relief varied....but nothing to lose if you ask me.

For sure, the only thing I do for muscle injuries is acupuncture and cupping. I’ve never had a joint issue but I’m sure it would help.

I did it for awhile and thought it helped my migraines but my insurance didn’t cover it. Was very expensive for me to keep going consistently. Found massage therapy and chiropractic work more beneficial for the cost

Yep tried it and no it didn’t help my joint pain. Ice... lots of ice helps and strengthening the muscle around the joints helps, in my case knees and ankles

Run,hike, swim, bike, regularly you won’t need acupuncture. I only used oned once and it ended in my feet in water saying “this current will remove bad toxins”. Voodooo. Eat right, exercise. No secret

I tried it for a while about 15 years ago for a back issue that I was having. I really wanted it to work and went into it with an open mind and complete optimism. Long story short, it didn’t help a bit. I’m not saying that it doesn’t work, it just didn’t work for me and my issue.

Tried it once for a couple sessions..It provided temporary relief and I felt better after the session but no long lasting benefits. JusMy experience your mileage may vary

It is pretty low risk, so unless you are paying out of pocket it is worth trying. Personally I have not used it, and am unlikely to

I appreciate the input, I scheduled an appointment, it’s worth a try at least.

I workout out almost every day, from lifting weights for strength and hiking or road biking for cardio. Started getting into kettle bells and using bands as well. So that’s not the problem.

My issues are, to many shoulder and knee surgeries. I have had my labrum repaired in both shoulders, a long with a couple of clean ups (a total of 5 surgeries) My knees I have had ACL,PCL on right knee and ACL, MCL left knee with a couple of clean ups (a total of 6 surgeries) Thank you college football
