Protect Oregon’s Spring Bear Hunt!
Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has released its recommendations for the 2025 big game regulations, developed by expert biologists using the best population data available. These recommendations include vital tools like the spring bear hunt, which helps manage the growing bear population and ensures the health of Oregon’s wildlife. However, anti-hunting groups are pressuring the commission to ignore science and shut down this essential season, reduce bear tags, and limit other hunting opportunities, including a new bear hunt for youth in the Alsea-Stott unit.
This same tactic was used in Washington state to close the spring bear season, despite scientific backing for its continuation. We can’t let that happen in Oregon. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that hunters and conservationists speak up in support of the 2025 recommendations and the spring bear hunt. Let’s stand together to ensure that wildlife management remains grounded in science, not political pressure.
Make your voice heard today—support the spring bear hunt and protect Oregon’s wildlife for future generations! #SaveTheHuntOregon #OregonWildlifeDeserveBetter #SupportScience
