A nice change of pace.....Made in America!
After chasing caribou this weekend I had to debrief and reengage the gear pile for next weeks multi-day trip with the wife. Couldn't have been a better day as the Postman left me 2 packages. One from FHF Gear and another from some place named Kifaru International.
New FHF Gear bino/RF case....Check!
New Kifaru Duplex/Highcamp.....Check!
New Kifaru Pullouts....Check!
GoLite SL5 Fly Nest....Check!
Darn Tough Socks...Cheeck!
New scope cover...Check!
Cutco Badass blade..Check!
Pristine Ventures PR-49 packrafts...Check!
Kifaru Pullouts have made packing a breeze, my little piles of kit went from piles to no-shit ready to rock ensembles. I'll admit, short of being a "kit" builder, I have the potential of being extremely disorganized
Then it hit me...My pile of gear has grown substantially this year, and I'm rather proud to say that more of what I own has a "Made in America" tag.
So, a big "Thank you" to the little guys out there, here in America, that make, sell, design and produce some badass gear. Your gear has made me a lighter, more efficient back country hunter.
