Just finished an antelope hunt in Colorado on Monday. Back at work now and counting days till I fly back out on the 13th for elk. Ive been training with my weighted pack for the last few months along with lifting at the gym. At this point , im going straight to rucking with a 55lb ruck. Did 5 miles at approx 2700 ft in NC yesterday. Took about 1hr 25mins without stopping. Im hoping my 6 days at 6400 ft last week helped a litte. I feel pretty good today. Kept a call in my mouth the whole time. Figured i may as well keep it real.
