7mm08 rl15 recipes

Anyone using RL15 for 150 gr bullets? It will be a suppressed 7mm08 . I found some Nosler data, but it is way heavier than alliants recipes by 2 grs. I have a few worked up but real world expierence would be very helpful. PM if prefered. Thanks.

I used to have a pile of RL15 and not much else, and tried fiddling with all kinds of loads in 7mm-08 of various barrel sizes. Best accuracy I ever got with RL15 was 42.5gr and Barnes 120gr TTSX. Also got good pretty good accuracy with 44.5gr of IMR 4320 and Barnes 120 TTSX, but the heavier bullets (140gr+) I really wanted to shoot just wouldn't cooperate. Then I bought a 8# jug of Ramshot Big Game. Problems solved.

I just bought some H380, seem's the pressure's are lower than Big Game. I'll give it a try , if it does'nt work, I'll definately try the Big Game. Thanks

Ahh yes, RL 15. I remember when a company called Alliant made a great powder called RL 15. Then a company called Vista Outdoor ruined it for everyone.

Loaded a few ea. Re15 and H380. Re15 was pretty slow in the 2500's, H380 2750's on average no pressure sighs. Looks like I'll do some more H380 work.
