75 vs 80 Eld m for hunting

I’ve seen it mentioned before, but not really discussed in depth. If it has been discussed, please point me to it.

Is there enough terminal difference in the 2 to matter? Shooting them from a couple of different calibers with starting velocities of 2800-3100 fps.

I can get them both locally, for the same price. I’ve been shooting 75s for a while and like them. However, I’m almost out, so I would kind of like to know before I stock back up.

I’ve been very pleased with my 75 ELDM load at 2915 fps.

80 gr might be pushing the stability limits of my 1-8” .223 Rem.
