New to the 6mm game in regards to predators.

I had a 1:8 20” barrel ordered which I believe I’m going to have reamed to 6GT…with the array of available bullets, I’m looking for input on what drops coyotes with minimal fur damage. No exit at all would be a dream. I’d imagine bullets 75 And under would be my best bet. Share your velocity as well

Majority of my shots are 80-150 and never past 300. Feel free to suggest other 6mm cartridges too, barrel isn’t reamed yet

the 55 gr ballistic tips shoot very well for my group. but it will exit bad.

all three of us shoot several 6 mm 8tw barrels and all of them shoot the 55 well. we jump them a lot and shoot them fast.

I shoot 70gr Nosler Ballistic Tips in my 6mm Creedmoor at 3350 and 75gr Vmax 3700 in my 6-284. Both shoot extremely well for me and I get less exits on coyotes with my 6-284 shooting the 75 Vmax but they are far from fur friendly.

Ive shot a lot of coyotes with a lot of different bullets out of my 243. And the best i found was the berger 69 gr varmint. It doesn't anchor them as well as the 70 gr nosler bt, but they are way easier on fur. And they shoot fine out of an 8 twist 6mm.
