6.8 western

Anybody seen a rifle chambered in 6.8 western in person yet? Specifically in Colorado. This cartridge has hit a cool factor spot for me and I would love to pick one up if I can find it.

Happened to ask while I was in the Kearney Cabelas. Online said they didn't have any in stock but they actually still had two (pretty amazing because their inventory is struggling).

They might still have the 26in barrel Hells Canyon. I took the 24 in.

Only one I have saw in person was a Winchester XPR Stealth with a 16.5” threaded barrel. I don’t know how this cartridge would perform in this short of a barrel. I guess it was made just for a suppressor.

I have been looking around for months but have never seen one. I was hoping to see more gun manufacturers start chambering this rifle in 2022 but that hasn't happened either.

I have this exact gun in 30-06 with a Leupold VX 3HD scope. Had the scope, rings, base, and covers Cerakoted to match the gun. My first semi auto rifle and Browning firearm but I'll say this....its a bad Mama Jama...

It was ok. Shot good but I sold it to a buddy that likes the 6.8 western and wanted to try it.

Probably is. Able to sling heavier bullets.

I like the Ovix Camo one with the 20” threaded barrel.

I might have to break down and buy one in 708.
