Starting to plan a 6.5 Creedmoor build and was wondering if anyone had any reviews or comments on a surgeon 591 action. Any input would be great, thanks in advance

Myself, and most all serious PRS "style" shooters all used Surgeon 591's back when they were just about the only good custom receiver being made. Before all the other brands made it to the scene. Ive had many of them over the last 10 years. I still have my first one I ever bought and Id say it has close to 8000 rounds on it and never a single issue with it. The only reason I don't still compete with them is because Impact Precision made an improved version of the 591 and that is what I shoot now. Take a look at the Impact Precision 737, or if you prefer the Surgeon, you wont be disappointed.

***Let me edit to add that all my experience with Surgeon was when they were still being produced in Prauge, OK. Some time ago they were bought out by a conglomerate group and most of the manufacturing moved to Arizona. I have no idea what the quality is like now days.
