Well, my brother calls me the Amelda Markos of hunting boots (Philippine dictators wife had like 2000 pairs of shoes), lol. These are the boots that I loved but just couldn't get them to fit me exactly right. Decided it was time to part ways. Fair question though.....

Ok so I generally wear a 12.5 us and euro 46.5 if available. Many manufacturers only do full sizes over size 12 hence the 13's. I have a low volume foot which make it a little difficult for me to lock my heel in some stiffer boots.

Honestly the Omega's fit pretty dang good and personally I love the look of them. They're 13's but fit my 12.5 fine. They'll certainly expand to fit a larger volume foot though. I just haven't had a steep enough hunt for these so I haven't used them. These are pretty stiff but have a nice rocker in the sole so they walk nicely. Probably still a 4.5 out of 5 flex.

Ferrata's I'd say are true to size 12.5. these also fit pretty doggone well. Heel pocket slightly larger than my makras so those are what I've been wearing. Looks like I just got those sold funds pending. These are not as stiff so they hike nicely. Maybe 4 flex or of 5.

Bergell's. Man I love the looks of this boot. This is a larger volume boot that I just haven't had luck with fitting me. Worn some around town/farm but not on the trail. This is a stiff mountain boot 5/5 flex.

On fit in general - if you're 12.5 to 13 you're going to be good length wise with all of these. If you're more of a full 13 the Ferratta's and Bergell's could potentially run a little short - although my foot spread a little last year on a 2 week slog and I'm close to a full 13 now.

Ok thought I would add this for reference. Just measured my foot today on a Brannock device. I'm a full 12.5 D width now. All of these boots fit me length and width wise.
