Better yet, have the other guy buy a 6 man or a Sawtooth so you have more options in the future. No, for me. The 4th guy would need a solo tent. 3 max with stove
"soy boy bodies" hahaha classic!Oh it can be done. With backpacking soy boy bodies. Tipis don’t have a ton of useable space and my 8 man is gone because of that. It was great for two guys and a squeeze for 3. I can’t imagine living with 4 normal guys in one. I’d say you could survive it.
Excellent point sir...very well said, and it makes good sense within that context.I've taken my sawtooth to alaska twice and we always had a small tent for gear and it slept my buddy and I just fine with the stove set up as well. It's not super spacious but I never felt like it was that bad either. Now that I'm a lot more comfortable in the outdoors I don't mind camping out solo or having my own tent and a buddy has his own. I'll admit that when i first starting taking longer hunts I liked the idea of a shared tent just because I was uneasy with all the noises at night and I just didn't feel like I was going to get eaten having another person just a few feet away. From a newer outdoorsman standpoint I can see the reason why they wouldn't want to have their own tent till they're more comfortable.
