To answer one very common question I've been getting in the PMs: Why are you dumping 3 Tenmiles? Did you learn something in S2HU?
In short, yes. While the Tenmile is the only FFP Christmas tree reticle in a reliable optic that is usable in field conditions, it is not as optimal for my poor eyes as the Maven RS1.2. I have decided to forego the functionality of the Christmas tree in favor of bolder simple reticles like the RS1.2 and the SWFA milQuad 10x. I have also purchased the new Leupold Mark 4 2.5-10 for durability testing and usability evaluation.
I still recommend the Tenmile to most people. It is beyond proven to be reliable, has a great magnification range, is lighter (substantially) than its competitors like the Maven, and does have a usable reticle for most people.
