I just got back from a 3rd season elk hunt with my dad. It was just my dad and I this year. It was a successful and unsuccessful trip.
I left at 1am Thursday morning. I was tired most of the drive down cause I put 120 hours in at work the prior 7 days and only slept a couple hours on Wednesday before I left.
Got to the main town and found my dad. We bought our tags and got a hotel that night since dad still needed to do a little work before bed.
The next morning we got up early and I scouted one area while dad scouted another area.
