.35 Whelan

Considering replacing the .30-06 I recently sold with a .35 Whelan. Can anyone recommend a good factory gun in that chambering? That caliber is becoming somewhat difficult to find.
 
I sent a 30-06 to JES reboring and had him rebore the 06 to 35 Whelen. I think it was 250 plus shipping. I can pm you the website if interested.
 
Sending a 30-06 or 270 to JES is an easy option and he does great work. Ruger and Remington have both chambered factory 35 whelen rifles, maybe keep an eye on gunbroker for a used one to pop up.
 
The bolt guns are bringing a premium right now. I don’t even know who is producing one right now, maybe Montana? I have a Winchester model 70 that was rebarreled by Shaw. Not sure what they charge but it is a sub moa rifle with factory accubonds. Might be an option if you can find the right donor rifle.
