I've had a lefty kevlar stocked Remington 700 in 338 win since the early 90's. Shoots great, great to carry, never weighed it but I think it listed as 6 1/2 lbs without scope. Only downside is they were listed as holding 3 shells in the magazine but mine (and others I know about in 338 win) only hold 2. Not a big deal really but wanted to mention.
