Looks like Peterson is now making brass for the 33 Nosler. That might put some gas on the smoldering coals behind it.

I love my 338 win mag but I have to say the Nosler case is a great modernized version. Just a few grains more capacity so it’s still well behaved in a hunting rifle and with more room to seat the bullet out.

Right on
I'm loving my Peterson 30 Nos brass

Not many reviews on the 33, but I wouldnt be surprised if it is the most efficient cartridge of the nosler family. Love my .338 win mag and I suppose if I didnt already have it, the 33 would get my strong consideration if I wasn't going to shoot the big 270 or 300 grain pills that the Edge and RUM can launch. Are there any manufacturers chambering the 33 besides Nosler or custom gunsmiths?

Montana Rifle Co was chambering some but obviously not any longer. There's a Fierce Edge up on gunbroker that looks like it was from the factory but they currently don't list it as an option on their site. Perhaps someone will pick it up but I won't be holding my breath. It seems the improved 30 and smaller caliber bullets and cartridges have taken popular interest away from the 338 for hunting and now it's reserved for the extra heavy rifle extreme long range sport shooting. That, and the dubious pursuit of featherweight rifles with pencil barrels. It's a shame, a case of moderate magnum size like 338 win mag or nosler is so efficient and is arguably still better at dispatching elk/moose/bear at typical long range hunting distances than the uber magnum 30 cals.

We'll just have to see what the industry brings.

With the 6.5 craze coming online the 388 is no longer needed..
You can kill an elk at 1200 yards with a 140 class bullet so I'm told🙄

Seriously though I like the 33 Nosler case design, I had a 338 NM for a while and really thought it was a poor cartridge.
I literally trimmed cases every other firing with the 20 degree shoulder angle, that and recoil was too much in a hunting weight rifle.

The 33 seems to be about the right size for 250 class bullets, the only reason I'm not building one is there are really good LR 30 cal bullets up to 245 grains with much higher BCs

Christensen seems to have chambered some rifles for it at one point as I see them for sale from time to time, but I don't see it listed on their site anymore either.
I think at this point it's just nosler with the m48.
