308 Win 12” 1-5 twist Barrel review.

Received my Xcaliber 12” 308 win barrel Saturday. Put it together this morning and ran a few 144 Apex down the tube with some impressive results. I also shot some subsonic Maker Rex 300 gr through it with excellent results.
Running the 144 gr Apex 2650 fps at or less than .5” 3 shot group at 100. More than likely will have back off a gain little hot on third shot. But it is hot and humid today 90% 85 degrees.
Running the 300 gr Maker 1050 with H110 1.5” 3 shot group at 100, 1” or less at 50.

The picture of the shells are left to right 300 blk 200 gr maker, 2 300 grain maker bullets, 2 308 win 300 gr maker and 2 308 win 208 ELD-M.

I shot it 4 times to getter lined in without suppressor or muzzle brake, to make sure the 144 Apex held together and didn’t rip apart with the 1-5 twist. She’s a shoulder and check thumper, but shoots pretty calm suppressed.

I have seen and heard how the Form 4 process is going since Jan 1, but what about the Form 1 process?

I have seen and heard how the Form 4 process is going since Jan 1, but what about the Form 1 process?

Took about 60 days going through Silencer Co. “$50” they said 30 days but ATF was slow. I had already purchased the receiver months before. The submission process was simple. I was already in the system also.
If you don’t already know make sure if you have to register the receiver do it as “Other” that way you can do pistol or rifle, if your state requires it.
