Looking at adding a 300 win mag to the arsenal. I have a ton of 200gr Accubonds and 4350 powder, any one had success with this combo?

I have always used IMR4350 in my .270 and tried it in my .300 Win Mag even though slower powders were recommended by most folks. 180 grain Partitions are my bullet and it shoots lights out with 70.0 grains. According to the Nosler load data IMR4350 is right up there with the slower powders IRT to velocity with 200 grains, you should be fine.

I’m sure IMR 4350 would work however I would give the Retumbo a try…H1000 is my favorite with the 200 AB in the Win Mag.

I’m sold on the Accubonds for my rifle. I developed super accurate loads using H4831. This cartridge and my rifle really like the powder. With the 200 gr Accubonds I use 70gr H4831. They shoot very tight groups. I haven’t shot them through a chrono, but it’s at the upper end of the load data so make sure to start lower and ladder up looking for pressure signs.

You can get good results with the 4350.....BUT, do understand that it's a bit temp sensitive AND fairly fast rate for your application....so, don't push it to the edge in the winter and then go shoot in the summer expecting the same results.

If you're inside safe pressures you'll be fine, but many will push till they're seeing signs on brass and that's usually several K over saami cup.

I’ve had really good results with the 180’s and H1000 and so has a buddy of mine. Same buddy also loads H4350 in his 06 with 178 gr bullets and seems to like them.
