30 ARX shooters??

I was curious if anyone is shooting 1 of these and what they thought of it? Also looking for load data for it. Would really like to hear if anyone has hunted with this yet!

Considered it, but I don't know that it does anything the 6.5 grendel does.

Agreed, I just was looking at the massive bullet selection available in 30 cal vs the 6.5. Not a lot of options in the 6.5 class when compared to the 30 cal

It's a shame the 30ar didn't get the support from remington to become popular. You can still find ammo on auction sites though.

I'm looking at 110 grain Barnes in the 30 for varmint shooting. basically you can bullets anywhere from 90 grain to 240 grain in 30 cal. Is there really that much swing available in a 6.5? Maybe I'm missing some key details to my loading, I'm always game to learn more.

I guess I was just looking at it from a big game hunting stand point, I wouldn't be looking at the whole range of bullets. For varmints I'd rather just shoot 223. 220 grain bullets mag feeding from a 2.26" mag seems crazy but I suppose they are snubby 300BLK type pills? Neat cartridge but seems like unnecessary work.

the extra work factor looks like a pain for sure. I was looking the fact that I have shelves full of 30 cal bullets and nothing in 6.5. Looks like I'm gonna hold off on 1 of these for now, found a new toy I want for bear hunting. A 375 WSM!!
