Hi - Phasing back into rifle hunting in addition to hanging in there with my bow. I updated the optics on my centerfires so my son will be squared away once I'm done with them. Nothing wrong with these, I baby my stuff, and can't recall these ever being wet - hunt MN and MT and it's pretty cold come rifle season. I went with Leupold across the board and will pass these on. Cabela's Pine Ridge - off a .243 - my 'Mom's gun', and she never hunted. She got a lot of guns over the years, whenever Dad needed a new one... Duplex; this has a diamond shaped 'cage' connecting the 4 thick cross hairs around the center where they step down to the fine resolution crosshairs. Kind of a neat 'peep sight' effect, I suppose to aid in quick target acquisition. $70
