25-06 brass

I am new to the whole reloading process and am looking to find a 25-05 load for a wolf hunt I have coming up in january.
The problem is since I am still new to reloading, I would prefer to buy my brass with the correct head stamp and avoid making my brass form 30-06 brass or something.
SO as I was looking around at what all is available for 25-06 brass it seems my choices for in stock brass are as follows

Hornady .70 cents a piece
Prvi Partizan .58 cents a piece
Norma 1.25 dollar and 25 cents a piece

Looks like the Hornady is a pretty safe bet according to most of the reviews I have read. However, there seems to be a LOT of Prvi Partizan fans as well.
I have also read a lot of people having issues with Norma being "soft"

What would you order and why? Thanks for any help!!

I never have used Hornady or Prvi. But have used Norma form my 300 wm. Out of the three norma would be my pick. I do reload for the 25-06 and use Winchester brass for it. The browning a bolt really likes the 115 bergers.....

never heard of privi but if you dont have a custom barrel on a 13 lb rifle you wont be able to tell the difference in accuracy. you may possibly get an extra reload out of some brands but not enough to justify picking one over the other for most shooters.

I'm using Norma 25-06 brass for my 6.5-06AI; so far it has been good stuff, I'm on my fourth reloading of the batch of 100 peices I bought from bullets.com (grizzly industrial ). I would definitely buy it again, I've heard the complaints of Norma brass being soft, and I can understand worrying about the life of it if I was using it for a magnum....but I expect to get many, many more reloads in my application and would expect the same or better in 25-06.

Unless you are going to use the gun a lot, I would track down some Winchester or get the Hornady. I have had really good luck with Winchester brass and the 115 grain Bergers also. I think I looked at using Varget but went with IMR4831 instead.

I really like Norma brass. I've use it in my 25-06, 7mm-08 and 9.3x62. In my opinion it is worth the additional cost. Northing wrong with Hornady brass but Norma brass just seems easier to prep and to reload. I have had a bit of trouble with Prvi brass trying to reload for my 9.3x62 but, I really like the Prvi factory loads in this caliber for plinking and for deer hunting. Prvi Partizon factory loads is actually pretty accurate in my 9.3.

Norma brass is outstanding stuff - I've loaded in 7mm RM, 270 WSM and .308 and lost count of how many times they've been reloaded with no pocket stretch or lengthening noted - that said, Winchester has always made excellent brass

I won't disagree with GK. My point is that the Winchester and Hornady will work fine. Unless you are going to reload a lot and demand a high degree of accuracy, the Norma brass is not necessary.

I'm not a expert, but one of the primary reasons for annealing brass is to soften or make more pliable. Once brass gets hard, it is harder to work with and becomes more likely to split especially with hotter loads. I guess my point is to track down a bunch of brass so you don't have different headstamps and start loading. If you know you are going to shoot a lot, then either buy more brass or better brass that will stand up to more times reloaded and fired.
