I appear to have approached this differently than you.

I used the unthreaded hole, but I don’t see a way to fit a sportsmatch ring between it and the bolt…

Based on a pin here, the bolt won’t clear/function. What are you doing differently?

Based on a pin here, the bolt won’t clear/function. What are you doing differently?

Maybe swapping ring locations and using the front at the rear so you can insert the pin in the mount too?

This was my work around for a tikka/scope combo that I thought needed a axial stop where the integrated sportsmatch pin won’t work. Screw came from a mount I’m not using.

regardless of the comments, the point remains. If you place a pin in the unthreaded rear portion, you can’t use sportsmatch rings and still cycle your bolt, barring a mistake on my part.

Yep, mistake on your part
Swap the rings around so the one without a hole goes at the front allowing it to move forward to the front of the dovetail
The ring with the hole goes over the rear pin
