Nice yeah I have been looking at them how well do they preform? I got this guy with my .223. Live weight 210lbs View attachment 487072

Shoots very well. I’ve shot several deer over the years with different 300 BLK and none have went over 40-yards. As for .223, I’ve shot several deer and pigs with that caliber as well, and same, none have gone over 40-yards, usually watch them drop.

I just recently bought a CZ 527 to hunt primarily varmits and pigs. Have you shot many deer with your .223? Good success and short bloodtrails?
I have now most I have found blood trails about ten to twenty yards. I love mine and a tac driver. I keep I under 120yard shots just to make sure I have shot all the way out to 150 but I don’t want to chance it at that yardage just my op.

Here in Ohio we have caliber restrictions so it's either shotguns or straight walled cartridges. I use a 45/70 or a 450 bushmaster. There has been a ton of guys I know that have been switching to the "magical" 350 legend though.

I like my 350 Legend better than 3006 or 243. Haven’t shot it more than 250 yards yet tho. 2 deer, 1 drt, other dropped, got up and 75-100 track, spraying blood everywhere.

I do good w 357 mag rifle as well. 14 deer w 13 drt, 1 75-100 yd track.

Shot placement and bullet construction seem to be key.

I shot my first deer this season with my trusty 300BLK SBR. I usually carry the old reliable 30-30 lever with open sights or the 308 shorty the majority of the season. I passed on a ton of deer during the rut simply watching and then it was like all activity shut off and I haven't had another opportunity at a deer in over 20+ hours in the blind. The recent cold snap has a lot of deer back on the cameras but I won't be able to get back out there until the last weekend of special late season so there won't be any trophies this year.
