I threw it i the whitetail meat pole first. First coues buck. Moved to AZ two years ago and this is the first year I really got to get out and hunt. 400 yards with the 7-08ai driving a 140gr absolute hammer at 3003fps.

Did some scouting ahead of time and it didn’t matter. By the time I got there all the bucks had moved due to pressure.

Saw 130 does and fawns and only 6 bucks total in 7 days of hunting hard. Killed the biggest buck I found, a 3x3. Bucks were all grouped up. My buddy killed a spike yesterday morning in the same spot and I packed it down for him. 480 and 530 yard shots.

Any coues buck with a bow is a dandy. Don’t think people realize how tough these little deer are to kill. Congrats!
