Here's my 2019 January 2 buck. Spot n Stalk open country. Got to 51 yards and drilled him. D350 still getting it done. God I love bowhunting!

I love our NM January hunt. My success rate has gone way down since I started hunting with a bow in '08, but I truly never new what I was missing. Now I get to at least see big bucks every year and hunt them. Saw some true Giants opening day but the does saved their lives . This guy was all by himself. Not a giant but I'm happy to have him in my freezer.

Thanks guys! Such a fun hunt in January. Many many many failed attempts over the years. Still haven't gotten a shot off on 1 of those 300# 30" bucks. Been oh so close a few times only for it to fall apart at the last possible second. But I'm happy to have this one.
