As much as it pains me to do it, I just don't use the beast enough. I bought the bike because I couldn't stand putting an atv in the back of the truck. I am continually decreasing my footprint, and found I just would rather walk most places ATV's are allowed. It is freakin' fun to drive. If you don't know anything about the bikes, go to their website, check out youtube, you know the drill. The damn thing floats. Or if you're going off grid, you can store gas or water in the wheels. It's a really cool piece of equipment. It's geared to climb mountains and haul loads. Top speed probably 25-30 mph or so. The low gear is about 3-5mph, but will climb a wall if you're willing to do it.

This thing is a work horse. It sips gas, and will haul you and anything you need out the woods. I have been transporting it on a hitch mounted motorcycle rack. It only weighs 220lbs. It has been professionally maintained and is in mint condition besides dirt. I am the second owner. The first owner was an Ex marine and cop who had knee and hip replacements. He used to ride them when he was younger, and bought one thinking he was still good for two wheels. He put one tank of gas through it, and I gladly picked it up for a discount over new. I have put roughly 20-30 hours on the motor. It has electric start. Most of the specs on the current model is the same as mine. It has the Kohler engine. I have the trail kit they offer brand new never opened.

I also recently purchased the "altitude" kits to retro the carb for high altitude hunts in Colorado, but the bike didn't make the journey and they were not installed.

I have some other toys I need to pay for, and this thing isn't getting the use it deserves. Ethanol free gas only. I will have my small engine mechanic give it a once over and tune up before it leaves me.

I will deliver within 200 miles of Baton Rouge Louisiana. Or you can ship it with one of the various companies. I used haulbikes to get it to me. It was around 500.00 to go from MN to Baton Rouge. They hire only people who ride motorcycles, so that they are loaded and unloaded properly. It was an excellent service and transaction and would recommend them.

Asking price is 4800.00. Again, as good of condition as you will find on a 4 year old bike, and it comes with brand new tires, tuned up, a 50.00 tote, altitude kits, trail repair kit, etc.

Serious inquiries only please - shoot me a PM. I can send pictures to those folks who are serious - if you're just window shopping check their website or google.

All paperwork will be included. If it is a non local sale, I will have a bill of sale done locally and notarized so that paperwork can be transferred on your end.

I'm not in a position to buy one right now, but I hope you don't mind me asking you a couple questions. I've been looking at these for years. I almost picked up a project one a while back, but realized I just didn't have the time to mess with it. I'm familiar with motorcycles, and have been kicking around the idea of a Yamaha TW200 with racks or this. I know this is a completely different setup, but just seems like it would be perfect for the mountains. I've read that it has a different feel with the 2wd, and some guys couldn't get used to that front wheel also driving. Having owned and ridden this one, what is your take on the rokons? They are a simple, but smart design, easily servicable on the trail if need be. And I do like the idea of the hollow wheels being able to be filled with gas or water, not all of them have this. Also, this doesnt have blinkers, correct? So it'd need the offroad/trail permit for whatever state it was to be used in?

It does not have blinkers - you’d have to add a few items to get it street legal, but it would be cheap and easy to do.

The bike is awesome - I have no complaints. I just don’t use it a lot, and I feel like I’m wasting its value keeping it. There was no getting used to a two wheel drive bike in my mind because that’s why I bought it. I too, contemplated rebuilding an old one and I’m glad I didn’t go through the hassle and expense. Buying a lightly (one tank of gas) used one fit my lifestyle much better.

It’s made for climbing hills and mountains - that’s the whole point in the gearing and 2wd. I hunt in some areas with really steep hills and it performs well.

not sure if I answered your questions - but I’m not selling because it didn’t do what I wanted. It met or exceeded expectations in every way. I’m just not using it as much as I’d like to.

Thanks for replying. And for anybody else reading this, I've shopped these for the last several years and this is going to be as clean of a rokon as you will find on the used market. They are mostly first generation types that somebody found in the back of a barn that need a ton of work, rarely do you find a newer one that is clean and well kept. I would love to have one of these, but its not the right time in my life. I suspect I'd end up using it a handful of days per year with my current situation.

Bump. Will hopefully be getting over to the new place in near Gunny in the next few months.

Happy to throw it on the trailer with the first load of stuff going that way.
