What an incredible opportunity I had in Sept 2012. For a hunter who has only harvested deer and elk, this was such a welcome tag.
The scouting alone was worth the hunt. To apply for years, not really scouting hard until drawn, was filled with excitement and fear.
I didn't know if I had the skills to make the kill. To be able to stalk within 18 yards of this animal and wait for the right angle was as
exciting or more so, than taking my first elk. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to bowhunt this White Ghost.

congratulations on a trophy of a lifetime!!!! If you get some time on your hands you should post some more details. unit? score? what kind of hunting you did, what gear. what you would do different, and of course the whole story!!!.... :) but if not, it's still a lifetime trophy!

That is awesome. Utah might be my last chance to get a goat before the mountain gets too steep. Great field shot as well. Thanks for sharing.
