What outfitters in the west would you be looking to if you were looking for your best opportunity at 190-200"+ mule deer?
Knowing it is hunting, nothing is guaranteed and you want to have a great adventure.

There’s a few outfits on the eastern plains of Colorado that consistently put out 200” deer. But from what I’ve gathered the wait list is pretty long.

A super high quality landowner tag in Colorado can still produce. To me it seems Mexico and Canada have slowly declined in top end bucks.

outfitter is least of your concerns unless you can get a land owner tag, auction or raffle tag. If you get one of the "special tags" the outfitters will find you...

I'll play. I'm assuming LO tag will be part of the deal.

If you were OK with a possibly sketchy hunt, Wade Lemon in Utah. He still gets big deer on LO tags even with the bad press on legal issues.

Hill Ranch in Colorado. Not sure who outfits it. Eastmans may deal with the LO tags.

Anthony Hampton in NM and see if he can get any LO tags for 2C. Or Chris Guikema for the same.

Mossback.

BMO in NM, SD, or old Mexico.

Mogollon Rim Outfitters and see about a NV LO tag.

All of these will be north of $15k and some double that at least. NV would be solidly $40k.

It's a tough tough game, outfitted or not.

could kill a 200 on $3,000 hunt, might get skunked on a $30,000 hunt.

But I'd 2nd @Wapiti1 above, and add

Bennett Mountain Outiftters, but that unit's struggled lately, but potential still there.

Non-typical Outfitters in Wyoming if you can stay in the long line (no LO tags, gotta draw and he's got a big waiting list for those who have) and hack the backcountry,

and we gotta mention (although no LO tags, and worst draw odds in the west) the Az strip outfitters like Clay Bundy, and the other crew that I can't remember right name, something like A1 or AZ trophy (anyone know?)

and Travis Roundy (deerbedead on IG) on Pauns, but I hear LO tags 30-40$K

Be sure in the meantime you're hunting public ground right. It's tough, but we see 190-200" on it about every state and you'd be honing your skills.

Price Trophy Hunts on a NV LO or draw tag. They have consistently been putting down the biggest bucks in NV the last few years, check out their IG.
