Anyone have an ace #2 Bart #3 or kreiger #4 that's fluted and cut to around 20"? I'm planning a build with a pure skltn action, Peak44 bastion, and a fluted hvy sporter, trying to figure the barrel weight, whether it's necessary to go titanium or not to keep my weight goal.
I plan to turn tenon to 1.20 shank diameter, and shorten the cylinder to 2", and finish at 20", with what should be around 0.700 muzzle for 5/8x24 threads. Will spiral flute as much as Paul @ pro precision rifles feels comfortable with.
