From behind the lines in SoCal. I've been reading a lot, thanks very much for sharing info.
I've joined late in life, most everything is going to be bench or prone for me from now on.
I worked early in my career at Star Machine Works, and have worked on a lot of other equipment as well, mostly one of the variations of Dillon. Most of my hand-rolled stuff has been for handguns, with a little for shotguns and rifles.
I've started competing a little bit at a very low level in local matches, building a few rifles, enjoying the process of creating and improving.
I've been a machinist since the mid/late 1970's, when I started at Star, and will hopefully closing my shop and retiring in a couple of years.
I really really appreciate all the shared experience and knowledge.!!
Wishing you the very best!
