What size tire and what size spacers or wheel offset did you use to be able to run chains up front?

I know someone who runs chains on his LT Trail Boss with 1.5" spacers and stock tires 275/65/20, but would be nice to go a little taller tire with minimal or no mods (mudflap delete maybe).

I tow my horse trailer enough in the snow to know I need the ability to run chains on all fours if called for, especially in hunting season.

Thx

I’ve got 99 problems, but needing spacers to do truck stuff ain’t one. Personally, if I was on your place, I’d probably drop the money on some takeoffs and studded snows or just a pure snow tire.

If you read somewhere in the manual, if you have narrow tires you can use chains. I forget the tire size on mine, but my 2022 Silverado can run chains with tall skinny tires.
I’ve put them on and never had a problem.
And I think my truck has handled snow better with the tall narrow tires, but that’s just me.
