Edit, 16” barrel
Started out life as a Ballistic Advantage 1-8 mid length gas SS barrel. I re-profiled it and carbon wrapped it. It is a combo of high temp epoxy/uni-strand carbon wrapped with pre made filament wound carbon tubes epoxied and pressed over. Finished barrel weighs 25oz. I set it up as a lightweight hunting rig with no muzzle device. I will include the fitted 5/8-24 thread protector. It shot Hornady black (1 box of 20) around 1.25 to 1.5” before the work. I only tried one load through it after the work. Target attached is an arbitrary load of 123 amax with no load development. 4 shot group under 3/4”. Just kinda lost interest. I mostly bow hunt and focus on the kids as far as rifle hunting goes. I have a 22” Grendel for them. I had the finished rifle as light as 5lbs 10oz with SWFA 2-10 scope (bespoke stock and handguard). I can also set this up as a complete upper with no bcg for a fair price if you want. I own a manufacturing business in the racing industry with our main focus on both cnc machining and high tech composites, so I have all the right shtuff for this sort of thing. Has 25 rounds on it, Asking $350 for the barrel.
