I recently cut down a 22” 6CM to 18”.
Was getting 2950 fps shooting factory hornady 108gr Eldm and 105gr bthp.
Now I’m getting right at 2760 with both loads on the 18” gun. So I lost a little less than 50fps per inch.
Currently have the gun setup for thermal and ready to get back out there with it cut down. Took it out when it was still 22” and man that dang thing was cumbersome. Attached are a few videos of the bolt 6 creed in action.
