What's bad is I called them to find out exactly what they had and it's $30 for 50. Lot's of places are price gouging. Small and large both. Midway is right along with them.

Look at 6.5-300 wby ammo. 96.00 I could buy it before for 70.00. I had stuff in my cart next day I went back to my cart and there was a list from them of price changes on everything. It's pretty bad when I can buy the same thing from cabelas for 35 and it's 45 at midway

I reckon if you need it, A 20 dollar price bump is somthing most folks can live with. Beats it not being available at all.

Ya, I just saw a shelf loaded with it the other day. Two years ago I picked up 1000 rounds of Hornady and 1000 rounds of CCI for about $0.16/round.......which I thought was still pretty high considering I could get Federal .223 for $0.25/round at the same time.

Mid Covid buying panic I got lucky and scored a 500 box of Hornady vmax for 117$ at scheels none the less. Got 1k cci 450s the same day! Cheapest Iv seen on the shelf here lately is 18 bucks. Still coming in and out. I need to grab some more ammo, and it looks like the price of 17 is going to stick up around that 15$ a box range.

Cci has had 17 ammo on their site quite a bit recently. I got 300 game points a while back. A little pricy, but it’s been in stock a few times.

I think Iv gotten enough together to shoot prairie dogs a few times this spring

Unfortunately, I have a ton of .17hmr. And .22lr. Why unfortunately? Because none is legal to hunt with here in Kalifornia any longer due to being lead cored. Blowing it through paper seems like such a waste.
