    Guide lid + Grab it II without pack

    All of the above plus a big ol'pile of horns (i hope). Bruce, That is almost identical to my set up. I put in my order for the duplex UL, guide lid + kit, compression straps, small pocket and medium pocket, grab it II, and the water bladder bag. Grey pack w/ mandrake bags.

    I'm on the brink of ordering a duplex UL plus the guide lid with the grab it II. I don't plan on getting a bag at this point as this is going to be mostly a hauler and day pack, I've never packed in. SO what I want to know is will the lid plus the grab it work together on a bagless frame? Also...
