    Is archery dying ?

I don’t believe it’s dying, still know a lot of people with teenage children getting into it. Here in Wisconsin, I do see a big shift to crossbows, though it could be that the people I know/hunt with are aging.

I haven’t done it yet, but a new bow. I have Mathew’s triax, I don’t have any issues shooting it but seeing the new bows coming out this time of the year always has me wanting to try a few of the new flagships.

    Your first deer rifle?

Remington 7400 in a 30-06 that my dad got me for Christmas when I was 14. Reasonably accurate for a semi auto, took several deer with it. Ended up gifting it back to my dad when he needed a different rifle. Still shoot it from time to time

    Hunting License Price Increases

I agree. Unlimited tags for NR and low cost of tags really hurts the deer population in certain areas.

Memories you made in the last year?

First trip to Kansas bowhunting. Struggled for 5 days, saw few deer, let alone within bow range. Both my buddy and I ended up shooting decent bucks out of the same tree within 8 hours
