That’s awesome. Way to keep hunting hard to the very end! Love hearing last hour success stories. Stories like this keep me hunting hard to the very end. I have yet to kill a last day or last hour bull, but hope to do so someday
I add an extra o ring on the shaft toward the front by the broadhead. That way if the band breaks, you simply roll the one on the shaft onto the broadhead. With that said, I’ve never had an o ring break. Nice to have just in case though
I like ash the best as others have said. Major brown is another good one, but it seems like they only make the attack pants in major brown now. Wish they offered other products in that color. I have peloton 200 hoodies in gunmetal and stone. I think gunmetal is a little too dark and I like stone...
I have two different pairs of pants that get me through everything. Kuiu Kutanas and Kuiu Attacks. Both have hip vents which help a ton in warmer weather. If it’s colder out then a set of kuiu peloton 200 zip off bottoms go underneath. I like fleece zip off bottoms more than fleece lined pants...
Unless Sitka has changed the dew point since I bought my set in 2021, looks like you might have the older version? One of the pictures shows the combined pit zip and hand pocket the previous version had…
I think you have a solid set up. Personally I like having a down jacket as my insulation. I’ve never used an ambient so I don’t know how warm it is. I don’t think I could go without my Grumman. I love that thing. If nothing else it’s great to wear around camp at night.
As for rain pants, you...
Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know they had a sale going on. I’m looking for a wick quarter zip in a solid color. It doesn’t look like Scheels has that in stock right now.
Totally agree. I sent an email to them when the proposals first came out and one of my bullet points was supporting OTC for residents. This is coming from a non resident.
Thanks, that’s a good idea. I might end up doing that. I wasn’t planning on spending over $150 though, so would have to find something else to get over the $150 mark. Still open to going the discount code route if someone has one they can share. Thanks!
Hey everyone, looking to make a purchase at first lite and thought I would check and see if there’s any discount codes out there that aren’t being used. Thanks!
I have a primary bow and my old bow that I kept as a back up to keep in the truck in case something bad happens to my primary. I shoot my back up every now and then to make sure I’m somewhat proficient with it.
Interested to hear everyone’s feedback on this piece once there’s some real world hiking/hunting use. Especially how it compares to the core lightweight hoody. Wondering if it replaces the core lightweight on archery elk hunts.
