Misery loves company here, My rifle is stuck in purgatory indefinitely now because canada post is on strike, its 3 provinces away and no end date for this strike. Hopefully all turns out well. Super interested in your build.
Stuart is a really solid guy. I spent probably an hour on the phone with him the other week while ordering a stock, no bs from him at all. Nice to see a Canadian company thats still reputable
I am absolutely punching the air right now. Missed out big time. I was about to order one from Corlanes. Can I ask, what was your impression of the stock overall?
Hey all, Im looking at this bag online, the Harkila Reisa. Does anyone have any experience with this bag or even brand. Not much info on it or the company as a whole. If anyone has a suggestion for something similar thats welcome too.
I like the idea of a softer material for a bag just to do...
Hey all, Im loading 6.5x55se as stated in the title, looking for some help on load data for heavy bullets (153-160gr). All reloading manuals I find are showing loads for old swedish mausers so the loads are quite enemic. I have a brand new tikka t3x in the mail that Im putting open sights on...
Did you do the paint job? Im looking at getting a wildcat made for my tikka project. Im going lightweight 6.5x55, no sling studs, barrel chopped to 20" and threaded with cap, no scope either- necg ghostring. Trying to plan and budget for the wildcat stock. Cant decide if I should paint it or get...
Love me some Dr Mike. I've managed to cut out all the bs in my supplement routine, I used to powerlift competitive when I was 17-21 and wasted so much money on random crap. Now its a stack of multivitamins, whey isolate, creatine mono and cranberry juice.
Will do! Should have it sometime next week, I went with the necg ghostring sight with standard aperture and Corlanes in BC is doing the drill and tap for a hooded williams base. At some point Ill be setting it into a Wildcat composites stock as well.
Stupid question here, but I see people mentioning the long throats on the tikka rifles, do most people when loading for hunting not go to cartridge base to ojive? Would that not solve the problem of how deep or shallow the throat is cut?
Just ordered my own Tikka in 6.5se and got it cut down to 20 and drilled for open sights, odd question, do you have full pics of your tikka? Im buying a Wildcat stock this week for it.
