Agree with you - ELD/Berger bullets work great with broadside shots and I don't argue their lethality... but angles or less then perfect shots introduce a lot of meat damage sub 2-300 yards as you said. My wife's muley this year was shot with a 7 PRC ELDx at 720 yards and the bullet behaved...
This is the only pic of a carcass that I took with the bullet. I really like the performance of the bullet. Limited exposure so far, but in ~5 deer and 1 antelope, all bullets were pass through with more organ damage than equivalent accubonds or TTSXs I have used in the past but less meat...
That's all absolutely true - my point is that resources are there for parents... I don't have to be a high-school math wizard to oversee the completion of a managed high-school math homeschool program... but I CAN ensure that my kids are putting in the time, paying attention, learning, getting...
It's work for sure and a family sacrifice... but I am very much in favor of homeschooling. I was homeschooled, went to public colleges and was top of most of my classes and have a very successful career... and my 20's were great :-) I have many friends I grew up with who were also homeschooled...
I'm waiting for an optics plate - I have an SCS carry on it right now and am getting a C&H precision plate to fill the gaps.
Initially, it's wonderful in hand and exactly what I was hoping it would be! I have the full size and it's a great bedside gun, but not an ideal EDC. I'll post up when...
Because it can't be beat with shorts and a t shirt and the gun with you is far better then the gun not with you :-)
It's a pretty cool little gun and can do more than just be a "get off me" gun. Very well thought out and good at what it does.
Rotate between staccato C, p365 legion, p365 XL spectre comp, CZ S2C, and just picked up an echelon 4.0c that I need to put through the paces in testing. In summer I pocket carry an LCP max.

Love reading the responses - it's interesting how important it is for some and less for others. I guess I'm in the less then group... as long as I have appropriate graduations for wind and a little bit of hold over/under when needed, I'm happy. I prefer FFP and accept that low power it will be...
Ok, flame suite activated... for fun conversational purposes, how important are reticles to you?
Reason I ask is I used two scopes that are a bit notorious for low power reticle issues this year (TenMile 3-18 MOA and NX8 4-32 MOA XT) and my experiences were positive. The "Christmas trees" are...
I’m still a big fan of the 130 terminal ascent. Getting right around 2980-3k in the element and it has taken 2 antelope and 4 deer this year. Bullet has done great each time.
Here’s a 10 shot group.

Yeah that's odd... my element loves the TA in 6.5 PRC. My 10 round group was about 1 - 1.25"
2 antelope and 3 deer killed with the 130 TA this year. All performed great. I really like this bullet.
While not UM, I have NF X-treme duty UL rings on both of my tenmiles. I have 1 in lows and 1 in meds. Both work, but I do prefer the clearance of the mediums for bolts with a 90 degree throw.
I went into the shop intending to buy the grizz, but left with the Kodiak.
Reasons I went with the Kodiak:
1) Feel - I just preferred the slightly narrower feel of the Kodiak. "feels smaller than it is" in a good way. The Grizz felt a bit wider, taller, and sporter. YMMV as I'd love to get...
