    So what's the verdict on the cheap Monstrum scope rings?

    I got a set of the Monstrum Pros with the 7075 Aluminum. It went in a bolt action. Still, they needed lapping. After that I was happy with them.

    I would do the mil reticle as well. You can use several ballistic apps and figure exact holdover for different ranges and also altitudes.
