I also would think the jobbox on casters would work well. As secure as anything and not too awful to move as long as it doesn't need to go up or down stairs.
That's what we did as well, and I wouldn't change it for the world. We just picked a boy name and a girl name and waited to see. So few actual surprises in the world these days.
Are you going to double up the plywood? The track is nice for a stop, but you have to route 2/3 of the thickness of the ply to get the track flush with the top. Also, I would put a solid wood edge on it to protect/hide the plywood layers, and I would put laminate on the top for a more durable...
I had not picked up my compound for a while and decided to plan to shoot everyday for 30 days straight in preparation for deer season. I am about 10 days in and I am amazed at how quick it is coming back/even improving.
