    7PRC load data starting point

I tap the brass a few times some people use an electric toothbrush to vibrate it and settle the powder down and it fits fine. No pressure signs, i got pressure signs with H4831SC and Staball HD but not the N570.

    7PRC load data starting point

It's a custom carbon fiber magazine made by seekins and there is lots of room in the magazine way more than needed to reach the lands. I am seating them at 3.392.

    7PRC load data starting point

I just got a Seekins Havak Element in 7PRC and need some starting points for loads to try. I have 168 vld hunters, 175 elite hunters, and 162 eldms for bullets options. I have Staball HD and N565 for powder. Has anyone had good luck with any of those bullet powder combos?

Maven RS1.2 Review (updated Jan. 21)

I got my RS1.2 yesterday and lined it up with my 2.5-15 Credo and 3-15 VX5. Optically the Maven was the clear winner the VX a close second the Credo is pretty cloudy at 15x. The turrets crispness went in the same order the Maven was very crisp the VX was second but I do like the lock button...

    Scope rings to avoid?

They worked fine while mounted it was just a pain if you wanted to move the scope to another rifle you had to completely remount it.

    Scope rings to avoid?

I have tried some vertical split Warnes and totally agree with you on that. Is there a reason you say to avoid the Seekins rings? Sounds like a lot of people like them.

    Scope rings to avoid?

I recently listened to the shoot 2 hunt podcast on scopes that have passed the field eval. He mentioned having issues with some rings but doesn't mention what ones to get or not get. I have been using the seekins or vortex matched rings but would like to make sure I get good rings on my next...

    Idaho Goat hunt

I helped a coworker kill and pack out his goat in Idaho in 2020, it was one of the hardest pack outs of my life. Now when I look back on it, it was one of the most fun hunts I've ever been on. He shot his on September 14th, I think the coat could have been better but it still looks good.

If you could only have 1 rimfire rifle

I would say 22LR, mostly for how fun it is to shoot suppressed especially with subsonic ammo. Which rifle I would say any good bolt action for the same reason. I have a Christensen Arms Ranger and the Springfield Armory 2020 the Ranger is nice to carry around because of how light it is the...
