My hunt will be the last week of June, not sure how that correlates with temps. But when I spoke with Tom on the phone he mentioned this was during there “rut”. He sent some photos of bears taken the previous week and they are gorgeous. 13 of 17 so far had been over 7’.
Well, after years of contemplating and setbacks I’ve finally taken the leap and booked my first western hunt. Going with Tom David out of NM. Read quite a few good things and a few negatives but understand not everyone can be happy. Seems the average is ranging in the 6’10” - 7’2” range. That...
I think for our Kitchen remodel last year we had $6,000 in countertops. I’ll have to pull out the receipt to see the square footage when I get to the house. Island was roughly 4x8 and L shape kitchen was 14x6ish
I’m a fan of 2 smaller ones. In the unlikely event there is a fire, in my mind you have a chance of at least one of the safes seals holding and protecting half your guns. On the other hand if there were a break in, they have double the work to get “everything”. And yes I’ve had a gun safe broken...
Here lately I’ve been loading a 50# sandbag in a standard backpack and doing 8-10 miles. I’ve learned rather quickly I need to get a frame/ bag specifically setup for weighted rucks at that distance.
I just test drove a ‘24 yesterday. My wife has a ‘22 4Runner TRD Off-road and it’s my favorite vehicle we have ever had. I loved the tundras power, but just didn’t like some of the nuances inside the tundra for some reason. At least on a $75k truck. (Hate to say that as I’m a Toyota fan boy now.)
I’m in the same dilemma with what truck to go with. I’m contemplating a tundra (‘24) or an AT4 GMC with the 3.0, I’ve driven it and it’s smooth and the fuel mileage is very intriguing. Only problem with these is that your can dang near get a mid level 2500 diesel for roughly the same cost.
