Those that use the 10.5 genesis,
How do you find the kidney beaning/blackouts?
I don’t know if I’m just sensitive to them but I tried the Conquest HD and they were terrible for me.
I firmly believe in trying before buying.
I will be purchasing. A set of mid grade/alpha binos within the next year and while the 10.5 genny is on my list, the only way to try them is to purchase and if I don’t like them, I will have to pay a restocking fee, which I don’t want to do.
That...
I experienced significant kidney bean/blackout with the HD. Interested to see if the new optical make up changes that.
Other than that these binos seem have every feature and ergo that I’m looking for.
Looking forward to seeing them in person.
Good morning crew, just curious if anyone here can speak on the kidney beaning or blackout when scanning within the sight picture on the 10.5x44 Kowa genesis.
For reference, I recently tried the conquest hd, trinovid hd, Zulu 8 and razor Uhd in a local big box and the while I liked the image of...
I emailed Cody with gohunt about this podcast leak specifically, and he wouldn’t confirm about a new HDX being dropped.
I’m on the fence about the zulu6 and I might hold off a bit. They were pretty hush hush on the pod.
Not sure what your hunting style and glassing method is, trekking pole would be good for a quick stable glass but for proper sit down and grid, obviously a tripod.
I would say a decent tripod like a sirui or slik first, they have options with ball heads that don’t break the bank and it will greatly enhance your viewing experience if you like to sit and glass.
I went cheap tripod at first and it was literally shit.
Totally, and running these with an aziak bino adapter seems kind of redundant.
That being said. When on the move and stalking in, these would be wicked.
I’ve been definitely intrigued by the 16s. The GoHunt folks are sure standing behind them it seems.
I just love the method of setting up and sitting behind a tripod.
Definitely.
my eyes didn’t like the trinovids, wasn’t too keen on the conquest eye cups (a hard to adjust) and it’s a hassle getting mavens north of the border.
Admittedly I haven’t gotten my hands on the MHG yet but I plan to this weekend.
Hello rocksliders, 1st time poster here from British Columbia…
I’ve scoured the pages and read all, mostly decent reviews on the Nikon MHG, can’t find much for recent reviews mainly from the bird forums, but my one remaining question is,
Do they still hold a candle compared to other binos in...
