I used them a few weeks ago for elk. I was shooting 300wsm. I bought a bunch on sale to.
I shot a bull at close range (50 yards) and he ran around 30 yards and piled up. I didn’t find a lot of blood while tracking, but upon dressing him, I found there was no heart left to pump any blood. Heart...
It needs to happen but it unfortunately IMO never will. When these hearing act bills come up in congress every few years, it just seems like empty political posturing by a few congressional leaders. They know they don't have the votes. I don't trust politicians, R or D to act in any ones best...
Man these new wait times sure are awesome.
Each of my 7 or so suppressors took about a year, a few over a year for approval. Mine are all on a trust with 2 RPs. I have not purchased a new suppressor since back in 2021.
Maybe time to get a couple more.
i have both a second gen tacoma and a newer full size 2500 gmc diesel. For me, if its strictly a hunting truck i would go mid size, specifically an Access Cab Tacoma with 6' bed.
if you are wanting 1 truck for daily use that would also work for hunting i would go full size f150, tundra...
I recently bought a set of used Swaro EL 10x42 binos. In previous ownership, they took a good fall and dented the right objective slightly. Clarity/function is not affected, it seems 100% cosmetic. This cosmetic imperfection really helped my get these at a good price.
1. Would you mess with...
i agree with alot of this. IMO, I would say the Cummins engines are less maintenance intrusive than either powerstroke or the duramax. You buy a Cummins engine and get a free dodge truck with it.
i currently have a GMC 2500 with the L5P duramax thats about to cross over 150k. SO FAR no...
I did this myself a couple years ago when i refinanced. Just make sure you budget.
Im in Texas, between the sky high property taxes and home owners insurance, they sure make it tough to afford about any home you "own".
My $.02, Just for peace of mind i think i would go back and have it threaded at 1/2x28.
i have had a few t3 lites cut and threaded. I used Morgan at Class Three Machining. On each of the barrels he did 1/2x28. Calibers include 300wm, 30-06 and 308. The tikka barrel profile is awful thin.
I have experience with bilstein 6112s and also icons. To me, the icons ride better.
I did have a rear remote reservoir leak after only 10k or so miles on the Icon which was unfortunate, luckily they can be rebuilt.
