Where is Elk Nut?
I’ve only hunted 2 seasons. First was 3rd rifle, last year was archery. I downloaded his app a week or so ago. I’m having a blast watching his vids. Good on him for sharing his knowledge. Edit: the wife is pissed though…..I can’t stop learning the elk language. -

I really like it. I’m dialed with field points. Just gotta finish with dialing the fixed blades. Hopefully I’ll get some blood on it. I’ll probably be shooting this rig for many many years. -

Alpha X 30 82/29.25 Arrows are Victory RIP SS. 27.75 cut to cut. 50 grain Iron Will HIT’s and 25 grain impact collars with a 100 grain head. AAE vanes 2 degree right offset. IP nocks. 535 grains total arrow weight going 285 fps. Haven’t nailed down a BH yet. I had some serving separations... -

Wrist strap?
I have one. I like it. I have a really loose grip and don’t want to jump the shot and grab it, torquing the bow in the process. May be mental, but I’m leaving mine on. -

Arrow hitting cable
I’m shooting the same bow and had the same issue with Blazers and Max Stealths. Not as bad with the Stealths. I just rotated the nock a few degrees, just enough for clearance on my cables. I didn’t want to rotate too much, since my arrows were spine aligned with the cock vane. Still shoots... -
