Ya I’m really leaning toward the flow. I like the CAT concept, but the reliability of the flow seems to really add a lot of value. Doesn’t seem as quiet, but it’s a more flexible platform from what I’ve seen.
I actually am running a 16” proof as well. Would you say the flow made enough of a difference over the Enticer to justify, or was it more of a nice to have for you? I’m sure there’s a fair amount of back pressure, just trying to balance it since I have the S-ti on it’s way.
I had actually not even heard of them until I
Thats a good point. This will be primarily a hunting rig, so nothing that’s is going to be doing a lot of mag dumping. I’ve just heard about the back pressing being pretty bad, so I was thinking it might be better for the system to have the flow.
I’ve been looking for a can for my 6ARC and seems to have a lot of solid options. I have an Enticer S-Ti coming, but plan to use that on my Bolt action. A few options I’ve been considering are the Huxwrx Flow 762 and CAT Noah. Has anyone had experience with these in an AR platform, or others...
Cool. I’ll definitely give that a look. Any reliability issues you’ve found with the pistons? Might be a silly question, just don’t have experience with them.
I’ll definitely check out the BCM’s. I’m between the 16 and 18, mostly for the speed. Should work well in my application but agreee it depends on the round
Interesting. Thats my one hesitation with the longer barrel. I’m going to be walking through brush and walking a decent way. Nothing too crazy and there’s plenty of open areas, but it does get think. I was doing it with a 22” previously so it’s not totally foreign, but did want to optimize...
6ARC Fresh Build
This is my first AR build, so please forgive any ignorance or things I miss..
I’m looking at building a 6ARC for hunting mostly 200 and in whitetail, and likely
Would be sub 100 yards. I like the flex of the cartridge and in the event I did have a longer shot, nice to have...
That’s where I’m at now. Knowing the optimal length barrel is 18”, I’m tempted to just go longer. Not my initial thought, but wouldn’t be bad to be lethal closer to 300 I guess.
