Topper, I did resize through my redding bushing die and chamfered/debured prior to seating, it is new brass so that could be part of the problem I suppose. Winchester brass so not lapua quality.
After another range trip not sure staball hd is going to be the powder for me. Getting some very high es and sd numbers.
10 shots each, fired 4, 3, 3. with 5 to 10 min for cooling
69gr 2737.2 avg 52.7 es, 17.8 sd.
69.5gr 2765.3 avg 58.9 es, 16.7 sd.
70gr 2813.2 avg 58.7 es, 19.5 sd.

Following back up with data from my range trip, ran a test from 65-71 3 shots each with Staball HD and 180 eldms. coal was set at 3.162 and using cci 250 primers. results ended up showing slight cratering at 71gr but not bad.
65gr- 2510,2506,2518
66gr- 2550,2577,2581
67gr- 2604,2631,2584...
A Tikka factory action is light and hard to beat feel wise. Also as long as you stick to a short action capable caliber i.e. 6.5 creed for NRL you have a bunch of excellent chassis options from all the big names. Long action not so much as I've found out haha.
local shop has either staball or h1000 and the staball is cheaper by a good bit so hoping that will work haha. and thanks ice looking forward to your results.
